The Holidays are creeping up on us and with it come so many questions this year of what we can and can't do. Who is getting together? Is it okay to go visit grandma? How about the annual girls White Christmas party? I have my own personal beliefs on all this, but the question that leads my heart and actions is simply this; how can I respect what you (or grandma) need at this time?

I have spent my career focused on balance in your health and well being. In order to thrive in this world you need a healthy physical, mental, and spiritual life. And I have got some news for a few of you, none of that can be done solo. We live in a world where we are meant to work together to find your healthy self.

Human beings are social animals, and the tenor of someone's social life is one of the most important influences on their mental and physical health. Without positive, durable relationships, both minds and bodies can fall apart.

Individuals begin life dependent for survival on the quality of their relationship with their primary caregiver, usually their mother. Humanity's survival as a species similarly hinges on the capacity for social living. Most of human history was spent in small groups in which each individual was dependent on others for survival; evidence suggests this is the condition to which humans are best adapted.

Technology has changed the ways people interact with others in their daily lives, but it hasn’t affected the basic need to form supportive bonds with other people.

This week I am giving you another partner workout. Just because this is a partner workout it doesn't mean you need to set up camp next to "your person" in order to do this together. You absolutely can though if you want to, especially if you are lucky enough to live with them! You can workout together via Facetime or something similar. This allows you to cheer each other on and push each other.

There are two movements involved in each section. The first person does the first movement, second person is doing their movement until the first one is done. Then you switch. Enjoy!
